Our media partner Coveted Magazine had the opportunity, while in Milan for Salone del Mobile 2016, to interview Tom Dixon during the press preview presentation of “The Restaurant”, a project by Tom Dixon and Caesarstone.

During Salone del Mobile 2016 CovetED Magazine was invited to visit the restaurant and enjoy a course served in each space, curated by Italian food design studio Arabeschi di Latte. Known for presenting memorable, interactive installations in Milan, quartz manufacturer Caesarstone has collaborated with celebrated British designer Tom Dixon on a multi-sensory creation.
The Restaurant is a series of 4 extraordinary sculptural kitchens in collaboration with Caesarstone. The kitchens are named: Earth, Water, Fire, Air. Each kitchen cooks one course and services its corresponding dining hall arrayed in a cruciform building.
“The Restaurant” was opened every day during Milan Design Week, with food served from 12pm until closing an incredible food and design experience by a famous designer Tom Dixon.
Do not lose the opportunity to see in the late Baroque splendor of the Rotonda Della Besana and enjoy the tastes, the smells, the furnishing and illumination of Tom Dixon. All new illuminations displayed at THE Restaurant are also in stock and available to order from Tom Dixon.
