Three guesses as to the purpose of this explicitly stylish, yet wholly utilitarian, bag—ready and waiting to play accomplice to a great escape. The creation of Alice Saunders, a Boston-based designer who sources vintage textiles for her Massachusetts studio Forestbound, this roomy weekender has been fashioned from sturdy, repurposed canvas, and comes outfitted with the kind of lasting detailing—leather handles, buckle straps, metal feet, 12 gauge rivets, steel dowels—that speaks to the seriousness with which it approaches devil-may-care adventure.
