On Friday, a Manhattan Housing Court judge ordered the eviction of a rent-stabilized tenant for listing his Hell’s Kitchen apartment on Airbnb. The tenant’s landlord, Related, is one of the largest owners of luxury residential properties in New York. The company has been telling its property managers to troll the site for possible Related-owned properties and report them to special “Airbnb marshals.”
