Uniques,
Studio Arthur Casas and Atelier Marko Brajovic were challenged to take brazil’s diversity to the expo milan 2015.

The theme for this year’s expo is ‘feeding the world in solutions’ so brazil decided to highlight the country’s values and agricultural aspirations through the architecture of their pavilion. How? By using sensorial immersion through interactive learning and technology.

“The construction suggests the concept of erasing boundaries. the earthy colored and porous nature made of iron will be fully open with the tensile structure creating unexpected niches for visitors to sit and socialize. A ramp systems encourages a smooth and gradual transition from exterior to interior, but also reflects the traditional brazilian modernism of previous pavilions.” See more at designboom.com

This project revolves around four key themes: natural wisdom, empire of colors, human power and creative fusion and it will have lots of natural light thanks to the atrium that interconnects the pop-up store, the restaurant, the cafe and the bar located at the rear of the pavilion.
