It’s Sunday. That means – Architectural Digest Home Design Show 2015 is ending today. So, today it is the last chance to seize the best design talks being held in New York. Get your notebook and your pen ready, ‘cause we’re about to showing what AD Home Design Shows has reserved until the end for all the design lovers.
For BRABBU, it was an honour to journey with you all through New York and AD Home Show 2015.

1. Raising the Bar: Using Luxury Furnishings to Give Every Room Special Appeal (11 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
Join three industry insiders as they discuss key elements that can make any room luxurious. Brendan Ravenhill, principal of Brendan Ravenhill Studio, Martin Grubman of top hardware maker PE Guerin, and Pierre Frey of the French fabric house Pierre Frey present their newest creations as well as tips for using and enjoying these extraordinary creations in your home. Moderator: Suzanne Slesin, editor and publisher of Pointed Leaf Press.
2. Regional Style Defined (1 – 2 p.m)
What can New York designers learn from top talents around the country? Renowned book consultant Jill Cohen moderates a panel that includes architect Mark Hutker from Martha’s Vineyard and Cape Cod, interior designers Barbara Westbrook from Atlanta and Jan Showers from Dallas, and home-staging expert Meridith Baer from California.
3. Made in New York: Top Furnishings Made in the City (3 – 4 p.m.)
New York City has always been home to an extraordinary range of companies that create exceptional luxury furnishings in lofts, warehouses, and industrial facilities across the boroughs. Furnituremaker Shara Kasprack of Dmitriy & Co., designers Ian Collings of Fort Standard, Rosie Li, and Kenneth Wampler, Founder and Executive Director of The Alpha Workshops, produce pieces that are both of-the-moment and timeless. Learn about their newest creations and their processes. Moderator: design consultant Ilene Shaw.
4. The Furniture Bible (4:30 – 5:30 p.m.)
Christophe Pourny and Martha Stewart (who provided a foreword for Pourny’s new book, The Furniture Bible: Everything You Need to Know to Identify, Restore & Care For Furniture) discuss what you should know about the provenance, restoration, and care of period and contemporary furnishings.
