How do you keep entertained inside during a long winter? Japanese architect Ryo Yamada built his family this home in Sapporo, an 880-square-foot grid made of beams and pillars. There are currently two “tree houses” in the grid used as playhouses, but more upper-level spaces can be added on his whim.
