Princeton Architectural Press has issued a journal sure to make both obsessive note-takers and modern art lovers happy. We’re not sure who originally conceived of this compact, ruled notebook bearing a reproduction of Noise—artist Ed Ruscha’s 1963 oil painting of that single word—on its cover, but it’s an inspired change from all those monochromatic, image-free Moleskine covers us creative types admittedly find irresistible. 142 pages thick, and closer to square than rectangle (5.5 x 5.8), Noise “seems particularly relevant in today’s world of nonstop media noise.” We certainly can’t think of a better way to spend some quiet time.Via New York Times
