What I Love About My Small Home:
The space!

Yes, yes…it’s still tiny (one might even say “teeny-tiny”), but my last two apartments were almost half the size. I’d spent years playing “furniture tetris” and surviving on a mini-fridge and stand-up shower. When I moved in a few months ago I was thrilled to have corners to turn! The potential to be able to sit or read a book in multiple places and buy my toilet paper more than just one roll at a time!

All jokes aside, I’ve realized how much I value nooks and the challenge of making them into functioning spaces. When you have practically four walls in your home, it’s a challenge to keep it interesting enough that it continues to stay fresh and exciting enough that you don’t want to leave it on your days off.

And I didn’t even talk about the sunlight…the way it changes the space throughout the day is practically mesmerizing all on its own!
