Dear all, although most of you are still enjoying the most delicious temperatures in Miami, some of us reall have to put some effort into the table. Well, today that person is me, so while I am in Miami (thank god) I am going to peek what is flowing in Dubai and what events are going about to go down in sandy fields.

It seems that Index Dubai is one of the major (if not the biggest one) internation trade shows running around that area, regarding interior design and architecture industries. INDEX International Design Exhibition is best known across big names, however, BRABBU feels that it already have some “strenght” to really mess with this giant. Do you know that Index Dubai it attracts more than 800 exhibitors from more than 41 countries under the roof of the Dubai World Trade Center? That is SO insane!
Dubai design days will be held between 18th to 21 of May, and of course, as we all may know, Dubai will not know the word “boring”, so as we can imagine, during these days you will be able to find every sort of events.
Although I am familiar with your desire to experiment the warms Dubai water, you have to meet one of the most important competitions there- The Majlis Design Competition.
With 25 years of experience behind it, INDEX International Design Exhibition prepares for its quarterly anniversary. But, does anybody know what is exactly this competition about? Well, “The Majlis” is a traditional feature of Arabic interior design, so they really value the places where they seat (“Majlis means “place of sutting), and the truth is that BRABBU has a piece that was published by Architectural Digest Middle East – our gracious MECCA center table.
The Contemporary Majlis Design Competition invites design professionals to rethink the “Majlis” by giving it a contemporary, avant garde, Luxury and alternate perspective. Shortlisted designers will be given the opportunity to showcase their interpretation of a contemporary Majlis at INDEX Dubai.
And after this, POOL!
