- It’s a well curated collection of my favorite things – including the building! I’ve moved from tiny studio to tiny studio for the past few years, but this is the best place so far: a 1920s Art Deco office tower that has been converted to residential. Perhaps the most unusual element is the trim around the entry door – part of the apartment used to be an elevator shaft, and the elevator door trim is there to prove it!
I really like the L-shaped floorplan for the apartment–even though it’s teeny-tiny, I still have distinct areas for sleeping, relaxing, eating and cooking.
