- This is the first flat I have owned and it’s located right in the middle of Angel which is a charming neighbourhood in London with lots of green spaces, cool restaurants and amazing speakeasy cocktail bars. It’s on the top floor of a Grade II listed Edwardian building from the 19th century but I got it at a steal because it hadn’t been modernized since the 80s and so the first thing I did was to gut the red bathroom and green kitchen! I fell in love with the loft ceiling and 18th century beams and that’s what made me decide to buy it. There’s so much light and sunshine (which is a premium in London!) and it makes the flat seem much bigger than it really is. After moving to London five years ago it’s been wonderful having a home to call my own and my flat is my own little happy bubble in the crazy busyness of living in London.
