I got a lot of things from my dad: my height, my left-handedness, my sarcasm, my love of cookie dough and nature documentaries, and my habit of constantly turning off unnecessary lights around the house… when I’m not too busy turning them on for someone who’s going to hurt their eyes reading in the dark like that!
