Q: Hi there! My husband and I are moving into an apartment and I’ve been searching online endlessly for a practical, affordable, and not-tacky way to make our patio safe for the dog. He’s a chihuahua and he would definitely fit through the railing on the patio. I’d rather not stick him in a “puppy bumper”, chicken wire sounds horribly tacky, and right now we’re talking about a lattice but I’m undecided. I’d love to do some cement blocks, topped with planters and flowers, but then we’re talking somewhere around $200. Any ideas? -Sent by Jennifer
