Levi Robb aims to push beyond what concrete can normally do when it comes to design. With the C L _ 2 Lamp, Robb hand cast a super thin, concrete shell that’s only 1/8″ thick to create a cup-shaped lampshade.
A long process of figuring out the perfect mixture resulted in the thin shell that’s not only functional, it’s durable. The concrete shade was then paired with a powder coated steel base with rubber feet to become a sculptural table lamp that almost looks like it’s dancing or striking a pose.
