By Ask Alice
Dear Alice,
I live across the street from a park that has a grassy area, a community center, and a playground. RVs often park along the perimeter of the park, but one man in particular has lived around here for almost a year and leaves food waste and his dog’s poop in the park. A neighbor and her kids were also woken up in the middle of the night by him screaming threats at someone. Some of us are not happy with his presence and, after trying to talk to him directly about not parking in front of our houses, have resorted to calling the cops to try to move him along with any enforceable ordinance. Other neighbors are labeling us NIMBY and think we should let him be since he is in an unfortunate situation. What’s your take?
Thank you,
