The Newton Family, as its name so promptly announces, was inspired by Sir Isaac Newton and his bold proposal, the theory of gravity. Known for their new and bold design concepts, Boca do Lobo travelled back in time to create their attention-seeking new collection, composed of brilliantly crafted spheres and semi-spheres, bound together by gravity itself. The magnificent result was an ode to the fusion of art and science, resembling an artistic description of a molecular diagram.

Newton Dining Table

With Black lacquer brass spheres, with high gloss varnish finishing and some gold plated spheres on the base, this dining table is certainly eye-catching. The table’s top is composed of brass circles carved with a golden texture, quite similar to a wooden texture.

The version above is made of gold plated brass spheres, finished with high gloss varnish on the base. As for the top, it is composed of an amazing myrtle burl veneer and finished with a high gloss varnish.
