Q: We recently moved into a 1972 townhouse that is just blah. No interesting architectural elements or really anything interesting at all! Other than paint, what else can one do to perk up a home without looking out of date (I like old homes but it doesn’t seem like putting in elements from the 1900s would look “right”).
