What I Love About My Small Home:
It feels like I’m living large even though I’m living small!

I wanted a sense of luxury and comfort, so I chose original artwork and natural materials like wood and carrera marble along with high end appliances like a dishwasher, Subzero fridge and my beloved Bertazzoni stove, all of which I bought second hand for a fraction of the cost.

Even though my apartment is teeny tiny, I wanted to be able to welcome friends and family to stay over. So, I built a customized Murphy Bed that drops down over a moveable daybed for overnight guests. My little nephews especially get a kick out of staying in their aunt’s “tiny little fold-up apartment.” And, because the bed folds up into the wall, it gives the feeling of more space when not in use.

I also love that I am able to live in a great neighborhood with a feeling of abundance, but with low overhead. Another perk is that I have all I need within arms reach and it only takes about half an hour to clean!
