New York fashion Week - weekend highligts

It’s that time of year—New York Fashion Week, where designers reveal their freshest ideas for Fall 2015.

The weekend has flown by, however we are anxious about the first reviews, so let’s give some rock to this Monday, shall we? Of course we have some clear idea of which designers have conquered the biggest spotlights during this caotic and trully glamorous time of the year.

Brabbu has some personal opinion on this fashion designers, and that’s why we are crazy about this juicy article. We hope it will help you to renovate and recycle (the new and best trend ever) you entire wardrobe.

Versus Versace – Anthony Vaccarello designed this diffusion line, the range created by a new up-and-coming name each season which is then immediately available for customers to buy. (So cool, isn’t it?). Oversized power shoulders on blazers and jackets, black mini dresses strewn with Liz Hurley-style pinned slits and slashes, and sheer panelling trimming hems and writhing around skimpy tops and dresses. (sound really good actually);

DKNY -Colour and patterns gave birth to a youthful feel, with retro stripes and simple geometrics clashing across full a-line midi skirts, wrapped tops and maxi length T-shirt dresses in sporty foamy fabrics. (perfect for girls we really have some tom boy personality);

Diane Von Furstenberg have decided to include the use of gingham (also seen at Altuzarra), demure knee-skimming skirts given extra swish when wrapped and layered, racy thigh high skirt slits and even higher high-waisted trousers, this time with a kicky flare. (Diane always showing that she has not an outdated mind and taste);

Alexander Wang returned to the sexy street style that transformed him into a household names. Tight and sporty mini dresses in bright acid orange, lime green and vibrant blue, while the designer breathed life into tight high-waisted trousers (a must wanted, for sure), teamed with light barely-there tops and sporty cropped raglan sleeve bomber-style jackets. (a man who really understand women’s body);

And just after her first store in London,Victoria Beckham is proving to be innovative, moving further and further away from the signature figure-hugging body-con dresses that defined her early fashion career. Slick, simple, minimalist, military feel go hand in hand with patch pockets, epaulets and strict belted details on dresses and wrapped coats.
