A Fun NYC Office Inspired by the Flatiron District

The Flatiron Loft is a project realized by Diana Mui of d.m.teriors, who was asked to create a “grown up” office with fun elements tied in. Taking inspiration from NYC’s Flatiron district itself, as well as other city elements, the result is a creative and inviting workspace.

The main sitting area got a Willy Wonka meets Manhattan feel with inspiration from the client’s gumball machine collection that had been stored in boxes.

The rainbow of candy colors adds a fun vibe and brings color to the white space.

In the conference room, a DIY grid wall and MTA inspired art was used as a reference to the NYC subway system.
