Morgan Ruben, whose work we’ve featured before, has designed a lamp that brings nature and technology together in a beautiful design called Motus. This elegant lamp, whose name means movement in Latin, sways gently back and forth, mimicking the natural movement of grass caught in the wind.

Motus consists of a base and rotatable head made of dark walnut wood and a stem made of slender brass, which aides in the lamp’s soft movements. The lamp features an integrated, high power LED strip with a touch sensor used to power and dim the light.

Motus is available in two lighting color options at Mobilia Woonstudio.
