How does a KOKET discover her true style? She owns it as a personal reflection of who she is.
A tour of my Petit Palais and chic office space will show a luxurious and daring style that is an extension of my closet. I adore the sensual elegance of black; it is the foundation of my design. I use the luxury of black furniture as the base of my spaces, just as my essential outfit basics are always black. Every stylish woman has an empowering go-to neutral right?
Boca do Lobo‘s graceful Palace and Palatino display cases of my living room design are delicate black furniture pieces with a powerful and almost enchanting presence, reminiscent of the regality of past times.
The voluptuous Caprichosa curved sofa from KOKET mimics a woman’s most desirable curves, fitted like a little black dress in lux black velvet upholstery fabric. Another curvaceous KOKET piece, the Chandra, is a glamourous and dainty little chair, cloaked in a sultry black satin upholstery, silky to the touch.
The devil is in the details of design, and that is what truly defines my opulent style: the vibrant jewel tones, coveted antique collectables, little treasures, rich textures, luxe metallic accents, plush furs and exotic animal prints.
The Black Cobra fur rug from KOKET by Miyabi Casa covers my floor with a sumptuous cowhide panels, opulently bordered by embossed bovine leather cobra print border.
The Temptation black console table bursts with exoticism and verve with its untamed, sleek black lacquer curves playing side note to a top impeccably wrapped in a pewter metallic embossed python cowhide and adorned with an aged brass pull on each drawer.
My treasured Venice decorative mirror from Boca do Lobo is a passionate explosion of romantic, dramatic and emotional design composed of exquisitely intricate hand-carved glass.
The black and gold Mandy stool was KOKET’s first piece, and I fell in love with the twisted golden base complementing the supple black velvet upholstery. Just as the shimmering black chandelier crystals on the elegant silhouette of the Eternity chandelier is perfectly matched by the gold bands that wrap them.
