A Traveling Family Settles Down in Houston, Texas

Looking to plant down some roots in Houston, Texas, this young traveling family reached out to StudioMET Architects to design and build a home in Spring Valley. Their desire to save a large oak tree in the middle of the property inspired the design’s central courtyard.

A cabana connects the house with a pool house, while adding an outdoor living room, kitchen, and dining room, all of which surround the pool.
