Entrepreneur and artist April Melchior began her small home decor and textile business in 2012 and just recently settled in her own studio. She creates eye-opening paintings that are equally calming and surreal.
Melchior also has a line of home decor which she sells through her Etsy shop, Urban Works Textiles. She combines graphics and whimsy to create fun pieces for any modern home or studio.
She is also a member of Modern Misfits… When she’s not working on her own art and home products in her South Philadelphia studio, she’s collaborating with other female artists producing and organizing exhibitions for their shows and events.
