The LA-based studio, now in its 6th year, has decided to release a catalog of their products, but this isn’t just any ordinary furniture catalog. In fact, you might call it a visual journey. The Bend team spent some time thinking about their furniture and their Southern California roots—and how these two things were intertwined. How could they present their collection in a new, unique way that conveyed the blood, sweat and tears it took to build their business and produce pieces that were not only attractive and comfortable, but told a story?
They headed off to Catalina Island for an adventure in creativity and self-discovery, where they spent some time photographing their products, not to mention hanging out with a herd of buffalo and swimming in the Pacific… They then spent some time in Joshua Tree being truly inspired by its breathtaking landscape.
Their labor of love is finally complete, and we’ve got a sneak peek at the stunning result of their Southern California adventure—take a look:
We hope that it inspires and drives you to go on adventures and do great things and create amazing spaces. The fact is everyone is on their own journey; we are just here to give it a new shape. – Bend Goods catalog intro
