From the architect. The client planned habitat as a part of site in their family home. The site is kudamatsu-city, Yamaguchi. The site is along a prefectural road. There is a lot of traffic. Their family home has been built at a point distant from the road. Their planning site was near the road.

Their main hope is that they can pass between their family home and their children can run around inside and outside the house. Their planning site was used in a parking and croft. There was a fence, but was not a gate. The frontage was open for the prefectural road. I felt danger that their children playing here.

There is the family home in the back toward northwest and is well-tended yard toward east. Their family home have the tiled roof and the wooden front door, a big good will. I felt the place with good vibes. I thought the necessary parking space, and the location of their family home, the connection of road.

I thought better that their family home is saw from the prefectural road. Therefore, their house was made near that road. As a result, I thought that their house will be made like a gate and fence in the site. The appearance of house show a big roof. That is homage of their family home.

Their house was made big opening toward their family home. Thus, that was made them conscious about living with family home. And I thought that their children can pass between their family home to my home and they will not go to the prefectural road. Their house was made the space of courtyard like outside. Because their house connect a conscious of life. There was conscious toward their yard of family home, and toward their courtyard.

Their house that their children run around safety has been planned by these conscious.
