I was perusing The Sartorialist recently and was instantly taken with this look. Before I knew it, I was doing some offbeat style math that went like this: wow, that’s a stunning pink coat + this look reminds me of 1920’s Paris + sigh, Paris apartments + I’ve always wanted a pink sofa + those sunglasses look like walnut = hey, this outfit is a killer palette for a chic living room! And so was borne a fun exercise of translating streetstyle to home style. I highly recommend it.
