- What I Love About My Small Home:
- The entire bedroom is a DIY project, but no one can ever tell. Because of it’s small size, we were able to secure the walls and doors without harming the ceiling or floor (a must when you’re “renovating” a rental). By building our own bedroom we were also able to add a little interest (cut outs/double doors/a dining room) to our very dull and square studio – while paying a lot less than the cost of a decent Murphy Bed.
Now we can open the doors, sit in bed and watch boats on the bay… or shut the doors and almost forget we live in a studio.
We also love our good knockoffs and garage sale mid-century finds.
