Q: I read design blogs and Love It Or List It is my favorite show, but I can’t decorate, paint, or replicate the home of my dreams like so many DIYers can. I’ve accepted it: I’m design-challenged. I cannot make decisions on improving my home because I have no clue. No idea what I want, no idea what will look best, nada. I’ve come to terms and accepted that. My problem is what to do about it. The only option I see is getting help from a pro. Honestly, I’m scared. They will require answers from me that I can’t give and the thought of that embarrasses me.
