Just as fashionable folks take their cue from the runways, those interested in home design, I have decided, would do well to take cues from very fashionable hotels. These are the places where, (somewhat) free from the constraints of budgets and finicky clients, interior designers are free to exercise pretty much whatever takes their fancy. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite hotels, from around the globe, and identified design ideas worth taking home from each one.
