- What I Love About My Small Home:
- I love that I’ve taken a little boxy studio apartment and muscled it into my ideal retreat from the crazy bustle of life as a busy student in a big city. It’s been a learning experience.
I’ve stuffed the bed into the little nook adjacent to the kitchen (meant for dining) for privacy. I’ve discovered the wonders of thrifting and spray paint. I’ve learned that the only thing that will distract a mischievous kitten from eating plants and playing with the fountain is a little fish tank.
I found that the beautiful angle of warm sunlight through the glass of a southern window almost makes up for having 3 ft of snow on the ground.
