This design project was created for a young couple, who love to travel and acquired their own vision and taste in interior design, throughout their travel experiences. The target design was a symbiosis of hotel-style, luxury contemporary, and minimalist design. This interior design is more impressive in the evenings when the whole set glimmers with the exclusive light set. Contrast predominate in this design, with the help of dark paint. One can feel completely relaxed when surrounded by these deep colors.
The living room is displayed as a studio, with an open kitchen incorporated in the living area, designed to complement the main concept. As many walls as possible were removed to achieve the much-wanted open space effect. A wooden wall performs as a division between the entry hall and the living area.
A bedroom is a sacred place. With deep and warm textures of wood, ochre, and bronze, it creates a cozy environment in the space. Bold wooden design panels feature in the space. The open bathtub installed in the bedroom is an odd solution, but it works. The walls in the section containing the tub are covered with glass and wood panels.
Natalia Bolshakova: Minimalism and discreet luxury – so you can briefly describe my “signature” style that can be traced in almost every project of our studio. We managed to create our own style which is sustained, recognizable, elegant, developing in line with the European traditions, but at the same time, it is modern. Clean architectural lines, impeccable selection of furniture and contemporary art raise questions – indispensable components of our interiors. Another important part of our approach to the creation of the interior is the cooperation with the best producers and legendary brands. I sincerely believe that It is not necessary to agree to a compromise in matters of quality because it is the only way to achieve the best result.
The attention-seeking elements in the bedroom area are the Coltrane by Delightfull light fixtures. It’s quite special, quite unique. The light fixtures are mainly composed of metal. To accomplish the beautiful color contrast, the choice went to 100% sea-inked wool textile by Dedar.
Natalia Bolshakova: “DelightFULL – one of those brands, which combines the excellent quality and the “spark”. Looking at each product of the brand, you immediately understand that the brand is created with great love. Of course, this energy fills the space where we use lighting of DelightFULL. Unexpected solutions, stunning, interesting design – It seems to me that when you start working with this brand once, it will be impossible to stop working with it“.
Nataly Bolshakova: We chose the furniture from our portfolio of Italian brands. White armchairs Jensen by Minotti – unbelievably comfortable, aesthetics are important but comfort is fundamental to the design. The other furnishings in the sofa zone are also by Minotti. In the kitchen we used – Varenna Poliform – perfect quality and design. The dining area has a Lennon table by Minotti and conceptual Manta leather chairs by Poliform. Dining lightning by Penta Glo adds gloss and shine to the whole interior.
The picture, taken by the Ukrainian artist Yaroslav Prisyagnyuk, is the center of the living room. The color palette of this design project was the starting point of the design. As for the best color match, in terms of tint and fracture came from Dedar.
