The picture above is of the entrance for Homo Faber, from the opening ceremony for the greatest celebration of beauty and craftsmanship that is taking place in Venice until the 30th of September.

On the right, one of the pieces that are standing out at Homo Faber is the Filigree Mirror! This piece by Boca do Lobo resorts to one of the oldest and more delicate jewellery technique known as Filigree. On the left, the renowned India Mahdavi shows how traditional craftsmanship can be used to create an exciting modern living with two contemporary spaces at Homo Faber 2018!

Another expo is the Best of Europe Salla! It represents an amazing journey through pieces specially curated by Jean Blancheart and designed by Stefano Boeri. At Best of Europe Salla, visitors can discover exactly what it takes to create exceptional works by observing selected artist-artisans working right in front of them.

 

 

Homo Faber 2018 is taking place at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, from 14-30 September. Don’t miss the chance to experience this event live!
