If there was any confusion as to where exactly the full effect of Candelabro—the bombastically beautiful suspension lighting fixture created by Spanish design brand LZF—could be best illustrated, it’s been cleared up beautifully by Madrid’s NH Abascal Hotel. In choosing Candelabro—a canopy of 15 separate elements representing LZF’s most recognizable lamps—for its main lobby, the hotel selected a dramatic tactile and visual counterpoint to the organized geometry and tailored sophistication of the lobby’s interior, while providing an ideal combination of volume and scale within which Candelabro’s organic beauty can be wholly appreciated. The originality and hand crafted expertise needed for LZF’s signature ribbony wood creations are demonstrated in the company’s newly released video (below), which aptly underscores LZF’s poetic tagline, “wood touched by light.”
