Spanish lighting brand LZF already has something to celebrate this new year, having received 2015 IF Design Awards for two of its 2014 lamp designs—including its Chou series of floor, table, and suspension lamps. The international juried award was bestowed on LZF in the lighting product category for a lamp suite with a distinct Asian flair—inspired by Hong Kong and the film, The World of Susie Wong. Barcelona studio Yonoh conceived of Chou’s lantern-like design, applying it to a series colorful iterations, each comprised of steel frame and the nuanced wood veneer lampshades for which LZF has become renowned.
