Michael’s house tour brought about a few firsts. While I was photographing his kitchen, he requested that I shoot his garbage can (huh?!). Afterwards, when he explained that it is from the 1920s and was used in a hospital, I was convinced that it indeed deserved a closeup. Seeing a piece of a meteoroid up close and personal was also a first for me, as was the use of crocheted masks as decor. It all works!
