In New York, there is a shop that combines ready-to-wear and practical products for the trip. This week we take you to Monocle, located on Hudson Street, just steps from the Eighth Avenue.
A small bicycle parked outside adorns the front of Monocle, the hype and very fashionable boutique in New York. Located at 535 Hudson Street, the setting is typical New York: brick walls and black front bearing Monocle name in white.

Monocle is the first magazine about travel and lifestyle founded by the famous Canadian
editor Tyler Brûlé in 2007. In August 2010, the editor and businessman inaugurates the Monocle, a picture shop its internationally renowned magazine.
An area of 18 m² houses a capsule collection of ready-to-wear products, but also trend and every day. We can also find candles Monocle x Comme des Garçons, pocket passports of Delvaux brand, travel books to take notes, and also travel bags, wallets, books of Japanese cuisine, already published in the magazine, and even CDs. This shop perfectly portrays all the important elements and practices for the trip.
Monocle has also mutated into “Coffee Shop”. Thus, it is common to find Monocle Cafe in London and Tokyo, where you can try delicious lattes, as well as sandwiches, pastries and even wine selected by a sommelier. All this in a cozy and serene environment with wooden tables and chairs as well as Monocle magazines on shelves for a little reading.
