From the architect. The neighbor care building in Peñalolén is part of a phased project of a civic center that brings together various services granted by the municipality. The project includes a set of functional and open buildings that respond efficiently to the variety of needs and aspirations of the community: community meeting, human development and social participation.

The proposal makes up an access from the corner at Grecia and Consistorial streets from which you enter the heart of the civic center, the square.

The proposal advocates a dynamics of solids and voids, where the first take an image and portal functionality.

The volumes at a human scale respect and enhance the heritage value of the town hall.

The buildings seek to re-interpret the solidity and massive expression of the current town hall, by using structural facades that regulate the sunlight.
