Kate and Susan Mulleavy, the cerebral sisters behind fashion label Rodarte, have collaborated with Frank Gehry, designed costumes for “Black Swan,” and shown their work at LACMA. Their first foray into home goods, a new line of rugs for The Rug Company, is as decadent and mysteriously compelling as their fashion designs.
