Paris Design Week * Upcoming Talents

PARIS DESIGN WEEK is an itinerary that all proudly promote first-rate design in Paris.

During 8 days and uniting 300 participants to share their experience in design and creation with the public, this exhibition show new collections are popping up in stores and the new concepts for the autumn season are being launched, the event brings together the talents and forces of retailers, galleries, showrooms, hotels and restaurants.

The now! le Off exhibition held at Les Docks – Cité de la Mode et du Design has become a major springboard for designer creativity. It presents the New Design Talents and Emerging Design Brands from around the world. The New Design Talents will be selected to take part in the RADO STAR PRIZE France contest.

Champagne Jacquart invites designers exhibiting at now! le Off to take part in the Jacquart Design Trophy Contest to design the new packaging echoing the brand’s iconic bottle for the Cuvée Alpha. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of various criteria: creativity, viability and relevance to the brand and its image. The 10 designers shortlisted will see their projects exhibited at now! le Off and the winner, who will be chosen by a jury of industry professionals, will have their design produced and showcased at PARIS DESIGN WEEK 2016.

Young creative talents gather for the RADO STAR PRIZE France contest

PARIS DESIGN WEEK and RADO renew their partnership to support and spotlight the talents of young designers. The 2015 RADO STAR PRIZE France contest recognises and rewards their creativity at now!le Off.

The RADO STAR PRIZE France contest, taking place for the third consecutive year as part of now! le Off, is an international design award that serves as a powerful springboard for these designers, promoting their work to professionals and leaders in the design fields and through the media.

These New Design Talents from now! le Off are automatically chosen to take part in the 2015 RADOSTAR PRIZE France contest.

At the special PARIS DESIGN WEEK evening event on Thursday, 10 September 2015, at Les Docks – Cité de la Mode et du Design, the winner of the 2015 RADO STAR PRIZE France contest will receive their award, along with a 5,000-euro prize purse from RADO.

The public can also vote for their favourites from the 10 finalists selected by the jury. Voting takes place on the dedicated website, www.radostarprize.fr, starting in July through 9 September 2015, the day before the awards ceremony.
