We were expecting our second son and we knew we wanted to make this room special. When we had our first son we made the mistake of having the room translate into only a baby room – so when it was time to change into a big boy room most of the decor had to go. This time we mixed many items we already owned with a few new purchased items – like a crib and bookshelf – and made the room feel like a baby’s space but with a modern vibe as he ages. The entire room cost us less than $600!
