The M Social Hotel is located in the city’s Robertson quay area, the vibrant hotel boasts 293 rooms and is defined by the use of raw concrete and you can really see technology working on a daily basis in this hotel because they use mixed-media such as videos and projections throughout the hotel.
This space is decorated with various items designed by Starck and it has really different interior spaces that have been decorated differently on purpose to establish a different experience of each program. A good example of this different set ups is the restaurant which was arranged in a separate part of the hotel but is joint with the rest through the use of Spanish tiles. M Social mixes a lot of influences including creativity, humor, and love. This mix aims to create an explosion of energy and joy, it can be considered a stage for creative people, like Starck comment for Design Boom.
The rooms available are 4 and they were constructed thinking about comfort and effortless elegance. The colors used are warm, the materials opulent and the high ceilings give a sensation that we are in big spaces and the goal was to create a spirit like “home away from home”. ‘The nicer room’ opens onto a terrace, while ‘the bigger room’ is a duplex-style loft with a terrace. M Social can be consider the new hub for creative people to stay in Singapore. It mixes creativity, elegance, comfort and it is a unique experience!
