When we bought our home there were only three rooms and a bathroom upstairs. There was the larger master bedroom and then an awkward l-shaped room that lead to a small back bedroom. There was no obvious spot for a bed, and you had to walk through the first room to get to the back bedroom. Eventually, we decided to put both of our daughters in the small back bedroom and turn the other space into playroom.
