Designer-builders Percy Bright and Tara Mangini had four weeks and a budget of $30,000 to overhaul a neglected outbuilding on a Catskills farm. They not only gave it a new kitchenette, bath, and built-in bunks, but fully furnished it down to the bedside reading. Says Tara, “We’re suckers for the creative speed challenge.”
