RELATED HISTORY: DECOREX 2015 – THE DESIGNS HIGHLIGHTS THAT WILL LET YOU IN LOVE
5. Angela Hartnett’s Cafe Murano, Covent Garden
Cafe Murano Covent Garden shares the same seasonal and simple approach to Italian cooking that has received such lovely praise at the original restaurant in St. James’s, but has its own personality.
“Rich brown leather banquettes and dark timber tables, combined with brass lighting and a long white marble-topped bar create a warm, comfortable atmosphere that’s dapper without being too stuffy” – Telegraph Luxury
4. The Hospital Club, 2nd Floor

Building on The Hospital Club’s position as a pre-eminent media members club, Russell Sage Studio was commissioned to expand and upgrade its unique interior style, re-imagining the interior for the evolving contemporary customer.
“Inside, the decor is a riot of colour, style and eclectic quirkiness, and once you sink into one of the cosy sofas you just won’t want to leave. The Hospital Club has a beautiful atmosphere with well thought out lighting to produce the right mood and setting. Very eclectic interior that seems so effortlessly put together.” – View London
3. The Botanist, Broadgate Circle

Chelsea’s famous cocktails are now in the heart of the City, with classic British and European dining and Broadgate Circle’s only late night venue, Soda Room.
“With a rich interior filled with beautiful gold and Victorian styled furniture, the interior ooze’s glamour and elegance. The space is very generous with the restaurant being set over two floors – the ground floor restaurant and bar and the sultry subterranean late-night Soda Room which is open till 2am. If this isn’t enough, guests can soak up the best of the British summer on the al fresco terrace”. – Quintessentially
2. Jason Atherton’s Social Wine and Tapas

An exclusive wine shop and cellar bar in Marylebone, with counter and table-served tapas, overseen by Jason’s long-term executive sommelier Laure Patry.
“The design, which incorporates a wine shop and displays of bottles, is superb… It has great atmosphere and moody lighting, even on a summer’s day. The seating, comfortable glossy leather chairs and banquets, are in green leather upstairs but rich red below, used against heavy, rough wood in the bar and staircase, while on-trend copper gleams everywhere in fittings and accoutrements. It feels perfectly like an earthy old bodega” – Evening Standard
1. The Decorex Champagne Bar of course!

Last, but by no means least, is the yet to be revealed Champagne Bar at this year’s Decorex. We managed to get a few clues from Russell ahead of the show
“I was thrilled to be asked to create this popular space for Decorex. We’ve chosen to collaborate with our Royal holding friends at Gainsborough Silk to really showcase and celebrate a company with over hundred years of skilled craftsmanship, as well as feature a few of it’s incredible stories of service to some of the greatest buildings and projects in the world. I love to support British craftsmanship and this seemed the perfect opportunity to create something memorable for Decorex guests to enjoy”
