From the architect. The plot has grand variation between levels from the street and the south patio, corresponding to a gap of two floors. On the south side, the place takes advantage of stunning views to the Tagus River and the southern shore.

Two houses for two brothers. It was decided to put one house on top of another. One benefits from its contact with the private garden, the other benefits from the unobstructed views.

To organize all program variants the volumetric assembly assumes a major role – harmonizing together in an effort to take a clear identity. Roof and exterior coating create a continuous covering unifying the exterior image.

The final form is a broken volume, an irregular prism that solves the upper program organizing the three floors above the ground level.

Floor Plan
The interiors adopt different solutions to common spaces and intimate ones. Living rooms, kitchens and offices share a kind of open space. Bed rooms offer traditional closed spaces.
