Danish company Vipp, best known for its pedal-activated luxury garbage bins is now in the pre-fab housing business. Vipp Shelter is a predictably stylish steel and glass two-story modern house that arrives in two containers, measuring 590 square feet, ready to be assembled. Best of all, it’s sold fully furnished and stocked with every necessity, from linen to tableware–and, yes, a Vipp trash can is included. With a lead time of 6 months and a price tag of just under $600,000, Vipp Shelter doesn’t come cheaply. But nothing this good looking does.
